SAU 24 Case Study:

The Challenge

The staff were struggling with burnout, stress, and exhaustion due to staffing issues and limited sub coverage. They were feeling the impact personally and professionally.

The Solution

Supported EDU developed a Self-Care Workshop series designed to help faculty and staff identify and implement self-care strategies and to reconnect with their why. The primary focus of the workshops included:

  • Creating systems and structures to support daily, self-care practices to nourish the educators and allow them to support students in a meaningful way.
  • Overcoming burnout
  • Prioritizing YOU at school and at home
  • Establishing boundaries

The courses were offered inline with the district’s PD schedule.
