Danielle Cormier is an experienced educator with over 25 years in elementary education. Her commitment to understanding the diverse factors influencing a student’s learning journey is at the heart of her teaching philosophy. Danielle’s mission is to inspire curiosity and a love for learning, equipping students with the skills they need for a bright future. She excels in behavior management, creating a nurturing space where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed, and is passionate about fostering a positive, engaging, and collaborative classroom environment.

In addition to being a first grade teacher, Danielle has expanded her role beyond the classroom to mentor new teachers, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience to help them grow and thrive. Her contagious enthusiasm and love for teaching continue to inspire both students and colleagues alike.

Beyond the classroom, Danielle is the proud mother of two daughters. When she’s not teaching, you can find her cheering at her daughter’s hockey games, enjoying her back deck, and catching up with family and friends.
